Modernizing Paypal's Intranet
Overview
When Paypal split from eBay as a separate company, a completely redesigned intranet launched with important messages for employees. The intranet served as a key source of updates on the company strategy and product.

01 — Problem
Outdated design
The previous intranet, shared with eBay, had and outdated design that didn't match the modern Paypal's redesign. As the companies were splitting, it represented an opportunity to remind the employees that We Are Paypal.
02 — Solution
A new intranet was designed to match Paypal's latest design standards. Company news could be published using an intuitive UI, through a customized frontend with Drupal backend as the CMS.
03 — Impact
- Clear, beautiful messaging that matched Paypal's start as an individual company.
- Users can now access the intranet on mobile.
- Improvements to usability on search and profile pages.
