HR Help Chat is a chatbot that helps users find answers to HR related inquiries. The chatbot was trained using HR knowledge-base content to provide the most relevant answer. The chatbot provided a way to capture the user's intent more accurately than traditional search queries.

01 — Problem

Loss of Productivity Due to Routine HR Questions

Employees were spending several hours each month trying to find HR related information. Email or calling HR was equally time-consuming and often took days to get answers.

02 — Solution

A Chatbot to Answer Employees' HR-Related Questions

Built a chatbot to help eBay employees with human resource related questions. The chatbot processed the existing HR knowledge base to answer various questions related to onboarding, compensation, time off, etc. We developed an NLP (natural language processing) based chatbot and created a simple UI to embed the chatbot on HR websites.
